Who we are

Central Cities Capital is a property sourcing and marketing business operating in the United Kingdom. Central Cities Capital is a trading name of Vaughan Ashe, who is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

What we collect

When you request access. Our Request Access form asks for your full name, email address, country of residence, the investment range you are considering, the asset types you are interested in, whether you describe yourself as an experienced or high-net-worth property investor, and anything specific you are looking for. Only your name and email address are required; the rest helps us share opportunities that fit.

When you contact us. If you email us or reply to our emails, we keep the correspondence and any details you choose to share.

When you proceed with an opportunity. If you decide to pursue a purchase, we will need further information from you, including identity and source-of-funds documents, to meet our legal obligations under UK anti-money-laundering rules. We will explain what is needed at that stage.

When you browse the site. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the time of your visit. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Our services are for adults considering property investment.

Why we use your data and our legal basis

Responding to your enquiry and assessing whether our opportunities suit your objectives. Legal basis: legitimate interests, meaning running our business and responding to people who contact us.

Sharing investment opportunities, investment packs and market intelligence you have asked for. Legal basis: legitimate interests, and your consent where the law requires it for marketing emails.

Progressing a purchase you have decided to pursue. Legal basis: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one.

Identity, sanctions and source-of-funds checks. Legal basis: legal obligation under UK anti-money-laundering regulations.

Keeping the website secure and understanding how it is used. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Keeping records to defend or exercise legal claims. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Marketing

If you request access, we will send you opportunities and market insight by email because that is what you have asked for. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also email us at enquiries@centralcitiescapital.com to stop at any time. We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing on behalf of anyone else.

Who we share your data with

We share personal data only where it is needed to run the site and our business:

  • Framer (Framer B.V., Netherlands), which hosts the website and stores form submissions.

  • Google (Google Workspace), which provides our email and document services.

  • Developers, vendors and their agents, but only once you have asked us to progress a specific opportunity, and only the details needed to do so.

  • Professional advisers, such as solicitors, accountants and compliance providers, where needed to carry out identity checks or complete a transaction.

  • Regulators and law enforcement, where we are required to by law.

We do not share your data with anyone else without telling you first.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside the United Kingdom, including in the European Economic Area and the United States. Where they do, we rely on the UK’s adequacy regulations or on contracts approved by the UK government (the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) so that your data stays protected.

How long we keep your data

  • Enquiries and Request Access submissions: for as long as we are in contact with you, and for 24 months after our last meaningful contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

  • Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe, after which we keep a minimal record so we do not contact you again.

  • Transaction and identity-check records: for five years after the transaction completes or the relationship ends, as required by anti-money-laundering regulations.

  • Website technical logs: typically no longer than 12 months.

How we protect your data

Form submissions and email are transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with providers that maintain recognised security standards. Access is limited to the people who need it to respond to you. No system is perfectly secure, so we keep our arrangements under review.

Cookies

The site uses only essential cookies that are needed for it to work. We do not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.

To use any of these rights, email enquiries@centralcitiescapital.com. We will respond within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, we would welcome the chance to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged on the site or by email where appropriate.
